Welcome to the overflow edition of Perspectives. Earlier this year the Coordinating Committee of SIG 12 was faced with the most unexpected dilemma. After completing the January 2015 edition, 2 articles needed publication and therefore were placed into a continuing edition. I am hoping you will enjoy reading these articles as much as I have.

Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is one of the topics in queue for ASHA's Practice Portal. The exact date of its publication is not known at the present time, however, once the date is decided, the help of a working group of volunteers will be recruited from the SIG 12 ASHA Community. Affiliates are encouraged to stay tuned for posts on the community asking for volunteers.
