As has become our tradition, this issue of the Division 12 Newsletter is devoted to a listing of all AAC-related activities for the 2000 Annual Convention, November 16–19 in Washington, D.C. In a return to the more traditional program committee structure, Beth Mineo Mollica has served as the AAC Subcommittee Chair for the 2000 ASHA Convention. The call for papers resulted in a significant number of submissions; the Division 12 Steering Committee (SC) is extremely pleased with the number and the type of proposals that will be presented at the Convention. As part of the special interest divisions' 10th anniversary celebration, the divisions will host a first ever joint reception. Please join us at our annual affiliates' business meeting on Friday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m.; the meeting will be followed immediately by the Anniversary Party at 7:30 p.m.
