The ASHA 2002 Conference theme is “Communication: Our Strongest Link.” The AAC ASHA Conference Committee has continued this focus as we developed the program for the 2002 conference. The paper submission response was tremendous, making the review process very difficult for the committee as we tried to select papers that highlight the idea of our roles in collaboration, literacy and enriching cultural diversity. The committee has developed eight invited sessions which, when combined with the division Short Course and special session, will make up the core of the invited program. These sessions are Short Courses, seminars, technical sessions, and an array of excellent poster sessions.
