Hello to everyone. The last few months have been an extremely busy time for Division 12. As you know, we had our elections for the Steering Committee, and we had an excellent slate of nominees. I am pleased to announce that Carole Zangari and Richard Lytton will be joining the Division 12 Steering Committee, beginning January 2003.
Our Steering Committee met at the National Office in April and had a very productive two and one-half day meeting. The Long-Range Plan was finalized and will be provided to affiliates in the near future. In addition, ideas for continued topics for Perspectives and for the Leadership Conference were generated. The location of the Leadership Conference is being discussed, and ASHA is helping us investigate possibilities for rotating the Leadership Conference from the East to the West coast. However, because of the timing of the Conference, we will be back at the Cloisters on Sea Island, GA for 2003. We hope to have more on the Leadership Conference soon.
