It again was a pleasure to see so many of you in Washington, DC. The annual Convention continues to present us with an intense period of time of learning, renewal, and I hope some flat out fun. I want to acknowledge Beth Mineo Mollica who served as the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Area Subcommittee Chair for the 2000 ASHA Convention. She and her committee created a substantial presence of AAC-focused presentations at the Convention. I also want to thank all of you who participated in the Capitol Hill rally and joined in our Special Interest Division birthday bash (See photo on this page).
