We have a total of 71 AAC related presentations scheduled (not counting those of interest that are scheduled by other committees). I am pleased that we have one institute and four short courses. (Recall that there are 19 committees all competing for slots. When you see that there are only four Institutes and 31 short courses scheduled in the entire Convention, our offerings are very impressive.)
We have a strong thread of AAC sessions throughout the program, from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday through 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. There are some times when there are unfortunate conflicts of competing sessions scheduled at the same time. But these occur because we are able to present so many strong sessions. Several authors were asked to accept shorter time frames or different formats than they wanted. These were hard choices, but it was necessary in order to have so many fine sessions represented. In general, your program subcommittee has worked hard to offer you the best program possible.
