Our division worked with the AAC Subcommittee of the 1998 Program Committee to develop a professionally exciting and rewarding 3½ days in San Antonio. It begins with a strong program presentation at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Every hour of the professional and scientific sessions (starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday) should have at least one strong AAC presentation and, in some cases, choices between two or three strong presentations.
In addition to the regular professional and scientific sessions, your division is planning a repeat of the highly successful early morning continental breakfast and affiliate meeting prior to the start of the regular sessions at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. This is your meeting to discuss division/organizational issues from 6:45 to 8:00 a.m. It will be followed by a forum on AAC service delivery and research issues.
