The Breakfast Affiliates’ Meeting was well attended. The following comprises a brief summary of some of the major points made during the gathering.
The AAC Issues Forum was extremely well-attended and provided a vigorous exchange surrounding several issues confronting us, particularly those facing practitioners in the schools. The demands imposed by “transitions” facing clients, especially from school to adult and work settings, were highlighted. The success of this format encourages us to include it once again in the 1998 meeting.
