As we prepare for the annual Convention in Boston, it is time to reflect upon our accomplishments, which have been enumerated in recent newsletters. It is also a pleasure to report that our division continues to grow during these times when some people are dropping some of their professional associations. We now have more than 800 affiliates.
This year’s Convention is extremely strong in both quality and quantity of A AC offerings as a result of your input. As indicated in the August issue, we are pleased to respond to your many specific requests, including increasing consumer participation. In addition to the session developed by Jon Costello, “Full Inclusion and A AC: Consumer Perspectives” (Friday from 12-l:30p.m.), GusEstrella will give the first annual Edwin and Esther Prentke A AC Distinguished Lecture by (Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m.). We apologize that this session on page 8 of August’s issue did not have a check mark indicating our division’s sponsorship. This is a special distinguished lecture supported by the Prentke Romich Co. and Semantic Compaction in support of our division’s activities.
